Be a part of our Story of Hope, Love and Life

We are passionate visionaries who have seen and experienced first-hand through close family and friends, the challenges and frustrations associated with infertility, so we understand the emotional roller coaster that comes with this journey. Hence, we turned these personal experiences into a driving force for change.

According to a 2023 report by the World Health Organisation (WHO), 1 in every 6 persons are affected by infertility worldwide, this translates to approximately 16.5% of adult population especially in low income countries. This is why, our goal at Fruit of the Womb Support Foundation is to contribute to a significant drop in the numbers, at least in Nigeria and Africa, within the first 10 years of our existence.

We are determined to touch more lives and to help them navigate the sometimes complex and sensitive path to parenthood.

Volunteer to create lasting impacts in the lives of those dreaming of parenthood.

According to a 2023 report by the World Health Organisation (WHO), 1 in every 6 persons are affected by infertility worldwide, this translates to approximately 16.5% of adult population especially in low income countries. In Nigeria a total of about 20.1 Million (16.5% of adult population) persons are estimated to be currently battling infertility, this includes both men and women.

At Fruit of the Womb Support Foundation, our target is to assist at least 1% of the above number within our first 10 years of existence, translating into 201,366 persons. This means we hope to reach an average of 20,137 persons yearly.

At the moment, the average cost of infertility treatment is estimated at ₦5,600,000 per person, ranging from ₦1,200,000 to as high as ₦10,000,000, depending on the level of required treatment. Given the foregoing, we require at least ₦112,767,200,000 to be able to reach our yearly target.

We require your support to meet this mark and we trust that together we can alleviate the burdens of infertility in our society.

Our Goals

  • • To promote an awareness of reproductive health issues as well as treatment options.
  • • To provide resources and support by covering infertility treatment costs, contributing to education towards improving success rates of medical treatments, and generally alleviating emotional burdens on affected couples.
  • • To reach out to at least 1% of the affected population in Nigeria, within the first 10 years of our existence.
  • • To contribute to a balanced society by supporting families through infertility and childbearing difficulties.
  • • To foster a helpful community of hope, compassion, and understanding; as well as breaking down barriers that can make the journey to fertility even more difficult.
  • • To provide funding for assisted conception such as IVF and IUI for families with low income.

Testimonials

Fruit of the Womb Support Foundation has changed our lives for good. At first my partner and I assumed the foundation was just like every other fertility assistance centres we visited. We were wrong! Today, we have our own lovely family.
We struggled with fertility challenges for years until a family introduced Fruit of the Womb foundation to us. Like they say, "the rest is history", and here we are living our family dream, thanks to the foundation!
