Olori Maryam Lawal
Olori Mariam Lawal's educational journey commenced at Ansarudeen Primary School, Alakoro, Lagos Island, where she acquired fundamental knowledge and skills. She then continued her secondary education at Ireakari Grammar School, Okota, Lagos. Subsequently, she pursued her passion for education by attending St. Augustine College of Education, Akoka, where she obtained her Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) certificate. Later on, she obtained a Bachelor of Education in Guidance and Counselling at Lagos State University (LASU).
She started her professional journey as a teacher at St. Peter's Primary School, Ikeja, leaving a lasting impact on her students through her dedication to education. Later, she transitioned into entrepreneurship, demonstrating her adaptability and business acumen in the Oil and Gas industry, where she has accumulated nearly two decades of experience, emphasising her commitment to professional growth and industry expertise. Her remarkable achievements led her to the prestigious position of Managing Director at Aishasul Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited, where her leadership has played a pivotal role in the company's success.
Olori Mariam Lawal actively serves on the boards of several charity organisations that demonstrates her dedication to philanthropy and community development.
Her passion for charity work surrounds teenage girls, with a focus on critical aspects of their development and wellbeing. She supports education on topics related to their health and safety, offers crucial guidance and counselling on their menstrual cycle, and promotes a healthy transition into womanhood. As the Queen, she has assumed a leadership role in Iru Kingdom by engaging in frequent youth empowerment initiatives and nurturing the potential of the younger generation.
